St Leonards and Crows Nest - Draft Planning Package

The Department has released a draft planning package for St Leonards and Crows Nest for community feedback (public exhibition). This package provides the framework to guide future development in the area and has been informed by feedback to local character consultation in early 2018.

We heard that the community values the area’s village character, particularly the Willoughby Road shops, Heritage Conservation Areas, health facilities and leafy streets, and wants to ensure these are emphasised in planning for the future.

You are encouraged to have your say on the draft planning package to ensure the framework for future development reflects what is important to you.

You are welcome to view and provide feedback on the draft Local Character Statement, draft 2036 Plan and draft Green Plan below.

The draft Local Character Statement was available to view on 14 October 2018, remaining documents available from 15 October 2018.

The exhibition period has been extended until 8 February 2019.
