Remediation of Land SEPP

You are now invited to have your say on a new Remediation of Land SEPP and the draft guidelines by 13 April 2018.
The proposed SEPP:
• provides a state-wide planning framework for the remediation of land
• requires consent authorities to consider the potential for land to be contaminated when determining development applications
• clearly lists the remediation works that require development consent
• introduces certification and operational requirements for remediation works that can be undertaken without development consent.
