We’re working with the NSW Land and Housing Corporation to list the Ivanhoe Estate as a NSW Land and Housing Corporation site in the State Environmental Planning Policy (State and Regional Development) 2011 (the SEPP).
This will mean that the Minister for Planning will be responsible for determining applications lodged by (or on behalf of) NSW Land and Housing Corporation, which have a value of more than $20 million.
Smaller development proposals on the Ivanhoe Estate will be assessed by the local council.
These changes are being proposed to help NSW Land and Housing Corporation achieve the planned redevelopment of the Ivanhoe Estate, to create a new, modern neighbourhood with more social housing mixed with affordable and private housing. Information about the proposed redevelopment of the Ivanhoe Estate is available on the website
