The NSW Government is seeking feedback on the Draft North Coast Regional Plan
The Draft North Coast Regional Plan outlines a 20 year vision for the future, centred on a prosperous community, healthy environment and attractive lifestyle choices.
For the first time, strategic planning for the Far North Coast and Mid North Coast is consolidated into a single region, while recognising subregional differences in communities along the coast.
The North Coast is the most biologically diverse region in NSW and one of the most diverse in Australia. Fifteen of the region’s reserves have World Heritage status. It is important that growth is managed sustainably to protect the region’s environmental and cultural heritage.
