NSW Planning & Infrastructure has prepared a proposal for the renewal of the Carter Street Urban Activation Precinct to provide a mix of housing, office based employment and retail services adjacent to Sydney Olympic Park and major regional parklands.
The rezoning of the site would establish a site specific planning regime for the precinct by amending the Auburn local environmental plan to establish land use zones, building heights, and floor space ratios. A draft development control plan has also been prepared to guide future development including recommendations for built form and the public domain.
