Revised Sydenham to Bankstown Corridor Urban Renewal Corridor Strategy

When I first heard there’s going to be an urban plan for my suburb Dulwich Hill, first impression this is good news for the residents that government will improve the infrastructure of the area and will improve the overall quality of life for residents. I believe government has done feasibility studies with expert consultations I also understand there may be people resisting these changes however in the long term this will greatly benefit our suburb. I will support government’s approach rezoning land for higher density use especially near the railway and around shopping district. I also believe land around Marrickville Rd close to the local shops should be rezoned for medium to high density to maximise the foot traffic of this great location. Thus I don’t agree with the draft in removing those streets 100m from shops to single dwellings.
