Revised Sydenham to Bankstown Corridor Urban Renewal Corridor Strategy

There has been a shop on the corner of Beamish st and Brighton ave Campsie for over 100 years. The current zoning only allows for residential housing but the businesses have been operating with existing use rights. The northern side of Brighton ave opposite Loftus Gardens (between Beamish st and Shakespear st) should be zoned to allow a mixed use development to allow shop to housing and the existing business to continue.
The development could encompass a street level awning for the bus stop to keep commuters covered during rain periods.
