Revised Sydenham to Bankstown Corridor Urban Renewal Corridor Strategy

My family and I have lived in this neighbourhood for 2 generations and love the suburb and it's close location to the CBD. The lightrail extension has made our lives the better. We support the urban renewal of our suburb but have concern over the increase dwellings earmarked around the lightrail stops of grove and alrighton. The area is not capable of supporting such a large increase in dwellings. Traffic bottlenecks and congestion is already an issue and will flow towards surrounding streets. The government should relook at the plan and adjust the number of land rezoned around the lightrail and move it along to the other side of Dulwich Hill along the surrounding streets adjacent to marrickville road. Example Durham,Seaview and MacArthur all have direct access to the main road without disrupting neighbouring streets.
