Revised Sydenham to Bankstown Corridor Urban Renewal Corridor Strategy

The benefits far outweighs the negativity in the long term as it will create more places to live for a growing population and we are full support of government urban renewal strategy and have interest in acquiring land for amalgamation in Hurlstone Park and Dulwich Hill area. Mainly due to the ease of transportation especially in Dulwich Hill with the lightrail and new metro lines. From our feasibility study the area along Durham St connecting to Marrickville Rd have large blocks of land on average 450sqm per block and will be much easier for amalgamation. We strongly object to the changes made in the revised plans to remove the area from medium rise to single dwelling. As this area is walking distance to shops, lightrail and train station. We support medium to high rise for this area.
