Revised Sydenham to Bankstown Corridor Urban Renewal Corridor Strategy

The new station entry should be accessible from both sides of the railway line to avoid actual Sydenham residents a circuitous route to the station. The station at the moment is really good - with ample, high visibility bike racks (that are very well used), wide footpath and entrance, easy access to bus and taxi transfers, opal facilities. Being at the top of the hill gives a clear view for visitors to get their bearings.

The proposed bike path runs along Terry Street; it would be better to go along Belmore Street (the lane behind Terry Street) as it is safer, flatter and is the currently preferred option for cyclists
