Revised Sydenham to Bankstown Corridor Urban Renewal Corridor Strategy

Thank you nsw planning for finally moving with the times.
I was born ,raised in Canterbury and my siblings and i all went to canterbury public and high schools here ,42 years later i still live in Canterbury .
I have lived through the booming times when all the shoos along canterbury road canterbury were open , two banks , chemist, newsagency, supermarket, butcher and a deli to list a few that were open in the 1980s.
since then the shops and banks along this section have moved on and the buildings have aged to the point of dilapidation, its a ghost town however much to the delight of having Aldi open and now woolworths has been a blessing.
Having Canterbury rezoned to high rise would help the area rejuvenate and become the modern suburb that it should.
My partner and I live less than 300 metres from Canterbury station which we use as our daily commute to and from the city its brilliant and convenient having alot more shops, supermarkets and schools built in the area would be great and we wouldn't have to leave the area at all, it would only cement the fact on how great the area is.
But we already new that.

The only issue for me is that these decisions take so long and wear people down ,waiting for a decision to be made is hurting a lot of people as they are left not knowing what their future holds, WE JUST WOULD LIKE TO KNOW AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE , I hope that the decision to rezone is made quickly by NSW Planning .
